The hotel is in a secluded area close to the freeway, with room for improvement in maintaining standards. The staff seemed overwhelmed by the circumstances, but there was a standout shuttle driver who provided exceptional service. The dining options were limited to basic items, but the pool area was well-kept. The price was reasonable but did not include essential amenities.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms seemed neglected, lacking basic essentials like pillows and towels. However, they were clean and pleasant.
Service
6.0
Despite the challenges, the shuttle driver stood out for excellent service. The staff seemed to struggle but managed to accommodate requests efficiently.
Location
5.0
The location, although close to the freeway, needs improvement to meet the expected standards of a Wyndham establishment. It was secluded and somewhat cluttered but accessible.
Dining
5.0
Limited dining options provided only basic items for grab-and-go. It lacked variety and substantial meal options.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel facilities were average, but basic maintenance and organization would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

After an 8-hour drive, the hotel ended up being a disappointment. The rooms faced the noisy atrium with no desk or phone, and water running through the ceiling into the bathroom. However, the prices were reasonable considering the conditions, and the service tried its best despite Department of Health violations.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were facing the noisy atrium and lacked a desk or phone, with water leaking through from the ceiling.
Service
5.0
The service, while good, couldn't make up for the Department of Health violations and the staff frequently entering and exiting near my room.
Location
5.0
The secluded location at the back of the hotel didn't compensate for the rundown and cluttered state, especially for a Wyndham property.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was overpriced at $5, offering limited options like twinkies and soda cans. I appreciated the cook making omelets and waffles but overall a lackluster experience.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel seemed to be in a remodel phase, in need of upgrading and maintenance.

5.0/10

Upon checking in, I found the hotel location to be perfect for our needs, right off I-40 and Paramount. However, the rundown condition of the hotel was a letdown, especially being a Wyndham property. The rooms were not as clean as they should have been, with issues like strange noises at 10 pm and a leaky ceiling into the bathroom that required moving to a second room.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were not as clean as they should have been.
Service
5.0
Although the staff made omlettes and waffles to order, the service was not very professional, and there were talks among themselves more than handling checkouts.
Location
6.0
The location was perfect for us in a part of town we are familiar with, but the hotel needs to be brought up to a higher standard, especially considering it's a Wyndham property.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience turned out to be mediocre. We only found limited items in the gift shop for breakfast, which we ended up paying $5 each for.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were lacking, with the heater control at the back of the hotel being inconvenient, and the lamps having low wattage.

5.8/10

My stay at this hotel was a bit of a rollercoaster. The rooms weren't what we originally requested, so we had to make do with a rollaway bed and the wrong room before flooding issues forced us to switch rooms late at night. On the positive side, the rooms were very clean despite the mix-ups.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms, although not what we expected, were surprisingly clean.
Service
8.0
The staff here were professional, quick to respond, and generally friendly, even when handling multiple complaints.
Location
6.0
The location was easy to access, especially right off I-40 and close to the Texas Musical in Palo Duro Canyon. Although it needs improvement to meet Wyndham standards, it was still convenient for us as we are familiar with this part of town.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience left much to be desired, with a poor menu offering and discomfort in the dining area.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel facilities need some attention to detail to ensure a more pleasant stay.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. While the rooms were spacious and clean, it seemed like they were not consistently maintained, with weeds growing around. The staff, though friendly, appeared overwhelmed by challenges. The location was convenient, but the dining experience was lacking in options and organization.

Rooms
